Koreans LOVE the Wide, Doe-Eyed, Anime eyes that you see on many Korean actresses.
It seems that the Large Innocent Eyes are a Pre-Requisite for the Korean Dramas where the heroine is Cute, Quirky, with a hint of Annoying Charm (Think “My Girl” and “Boys Over Flowers”)
How can YOU get that Wide-Eyed Innocent Look (Even if you’re not so innocent)?
Nude Eye Liner!
This is a trick that I like to use to really open up and brighten the eyes.
You may have read about using White Eye Liner on the Water Line (The Squishy Wet Part by your Bottom Lashes).
This works… but I find that it can look a little obvious.
However, if you really want to make an impact and get the big Anime eyes, go for the white.
For everyday and a more natural look, I say go with a Nude Eye Liner.
You can use a Nude Eye Liner for a natural look, and a Nude Shimmer Eyeliner for a little bit of pop.
I use the Stila Kajal Eye Liner in Topaz (an Apricot Nude) for a Nude and Make Up For Ever in Champagne 23L (a metallic pink champagne) for Shimmer.

* You can use directly on the water line to emphasize eyes.
* For a bit more oomph, use the Eye Liner right underneath the Water Line right by the bottom lashes.
- If you add the second step, make sure to blend the Eye Liner along your bottom lashes and use Mascara to darken your lashes.
* You can also just use on the inner corner of the eyes (From the Beginning of Your Eye to the Middle) and blend.

This is a quick and easy trick, but I find that it makes a really big difference.
Try it out, and live your own K-Drama fairytale!

This was of interest because when we opened up Twitter on Saturday morning, a Korean actor was in the top ten of trending topics. Very impressive when you think about all the things that people tweet about. Apparently he reached all the way up to #2. Wow! People sure love Korean pop stars. Find the latest on Kim Bum, the star of Boys over Flowers at AllKpop.

Boys Before Flowers seems like the big winner of the Seoul Drama Awards. Yahoo Korea conducted a worldwide poll to determine who was the most popular actor, actress and drama. We know many of our readers love Korean dramas and that Korean dramas are gaining a strong following among non-Koreans. Well, so who won the Seoul Drama Awards?
Kim Hyun Joong walked away as the most popular actor with 48% of the votes. Lee Junki came in second with 26% for his Iljimae role while fellow Boys Over Flower star, Lee Minho was placed third.
Nation’s little sister, Moon Geun Young was voted the most popular actress for her role in Painter of the Wind. Han Hyo Joo was 2nd for her Iljimae role while Goo Hye Sun came in third for Boy Before Flowers.
In the most popular drama category, Boys Over Flowers won with 38% of the votes, with Painter of the Wind and Iljimae coming in second and third with 34% and 26% of the votes respectively.
So what was the genesis of the Seoul Drama Awards? “The purpose of the SDA 2009 is to raise the profile of Korean series in the international drama market and to expand cultural exchanges,” an official from the organizing committee said.
