New York Korean Fashion Festival

KAMA (The Korean Apparel Manufacturers Association of Greater New York) along with The Natural Dye Arts Group, from South Korea, will be hosting the 2012 New York Korean Fashion Festival this Saturday, March 3rd at Dae Dong Manor in Flushing, NY.

The festival will have two main events: a Natural Dye Art Exhibition showcasing traditional Korean dyed fabric, and the Fashion Festival program consisting of four main fashion shows.

New York Korean Fashion Festival Events

The fashion shows will feature Hanbok (traditional Korean dress) as well as pieces by the Natural Dye Artisans. Another fashion show will celebrate the works of four Korean American designers who are a part of Project KAMA. Also occurring at the Festival will be the KASA (Korean Apparel Student Association) Student Fashion Show Competition where the winner will receive scholarship money as the grand prize.
