The Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) in New York is currently hosting the Korean Eye: Energy and Matter, an internationally-acclaimed exhibition displays many works of different mediums by various contemporary Korean artists who each offer “an illuminating commentary on the philosophical and aesthetic conditions of modern Korean culture, from virtual reality and the pervasive influence of fantasy and pop culture to the dehumanization inherent in a post-industrial society.”

A part of the Korean Eye” project—an initiative aiming to “introduce modern Korean art to the international community”—the exhibit be on view until February 19, 2012 and will then cross the pond to Saatchi Gallery, just in time for the London 2012 Summer Olympics.
