Blush is the first pan-Asian musical girl group to emerge onto the pop scene. Brought together by Far West Entertainment, a Hong Kong-based media production company, the group was formed through a reality TV show called Project Lotus, which was aired only in Asia. Blush is made up of five girls: Angeli, from the Philippines, Ji Hae, a South Korean native, Alisha, from India, Victoria, of China, and Natsuko, from Japan.
One of Blush’s most recent and biggest shows was in Hong Kong, where they were one of the opening acts for Justin Bieber’s concert back in May. The girls performed in front of more than 14,000 fans with their song, “Fell in Love with a Song.” Far West Entertainment have high hopes for Blush, and believe it’s been long overdue for an Asian female pop group to take over the music charts.
Last night, Blush made its American debut on FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance, with their latest track, “Undivided,” featuring Snoop Dogg. Watch the clip below!
