What You Shouldn’t Say If You Become a Kpop Star

The Kpop blogosphere and twitter got lit up big time this past weekend because a member of one of the biggest boy bands in South Korea – 2PM – called it quits because of the controversy over his very dumb comments from his MySpace page a few years back. Watch what you say kids. The Internet is great at recording and archiving both our achievements and our stupidity. So what did JaeBum of 2PM actually say? Keep in mind that he’s a Korean-American who crossed the Pacific and made it big in South Korea and then let it all fall apart because of a few words that are transcribed on the Internet. Watch what you say!

“Korea is gay”
“I hate Koreans”
“I want to go back to the States again”
“Korea is whack… but everyone thinks I’m like the illest rapper when I suck nuts at rapping…”

Well, common sense says that you shouldn’t offend and say anything offensive to the people who may purchase your product. Doh! And for his official apology…
