Janice Min, the powerful editor-in-chief of US Weekly is calling it quits.  She is stepping down next week after a long and successful tenure at US Weekly, where she was the architect in transforming the weekly magazine into one of the premiere publications on the rack.  During her tenure, circulation more than doubled and US Weekly started to challenge long-time leader People magazine.  The magazine had more than $300 million in revenue last year.  So where is she going next?  What’s she going to do for the next chapter of her life?

“As long as I’m here, I can’t really even begin to think about what I’m going to do next,” she said. “But I’m 39 and I’d like to have another career. I felt like I’d done every possible thing at Us Weekly to make it successful.”

We found a video from a couple years ago of SuChin Pak of MTV interviewing Janice Min.
