The acid-tongued Korean-American comedienne takes the stage for a hilarious standup performance that poses perhaps her most shocking theory yet: “nice is sexy.”

Margaret Cho’s fifth concert film “Beautiful” (Showtime, 11 p.m.) gets its premiere tonight. Shot at the Long Beach Terrace Theater, the comedienne discusses the world of beauty as well as “the unattractive politicians and marketers who shape our world.” As she told fans when she was touring, “This show is really about how we should feel beautiful. When you feel beautiful. You’re going to have more of a willingness to use your voice to speak.” Plus she’ll be doing a lot of raunchy material.
