Epik High was the featured act for the Map the Soul tour but the Far East Movement made quite a statement at the Fillmore (aka Irving Plaza). The Far East Movement is trailblazing for many Asian-Americans into the hip hop world and they’re winning because of the quality of their music. They are the next generation of musicians and they’re high energy music has caught the attention of many labels and DJs around the world. Who thought there would be a black president? Well, would you believe in a successful Asian hip hop artist? Let me introduce to you the members of the Far East Movement: Kev Nish, Prohgress, J-Splif, and DJ Virman. In this red carpet interview, they thank their supporters and share a little bit of wisdom before they took the stage at the Fillmore.
