Margaret Cho was interviewed by CNN.COM recently regarding her new role on a new Lifetime channel TV series called ‘Drop Dead Diva’. She is back doing television after some mixed reviews in ‘All American Girl”, but Cho considers this new character a more serious, but funny role. I have to give Cho a lot of credit because she was the first Korean-American to have a prime time show on broadcast television. Unfortunately, there were no Korean-Americans writers for that show which may have been the reason for its short ride. Had Margaret been give more liberties with the writing, the show may have been a success.
She’s also coming out with a new music album entitled ‘Guitarded’ that will feature music that are “super dirty” and “super silly”. See the full interview at CNN.COM
