Imagine being young, alone and barely able to speak english while trying to make a living on the grandest stage of golf. This is the story of Jin Joo Hong and other South Korean women who are competing on the LPGA tour. They arrive on US soil hoping to have similar success to Se Ri Pak and Mi Hyun Kim but there’s an incredible burden having to live in a new culture, speak english (in front of the press) and make enough money to continue their eligibility on the LPGA tour.
